An identity for a modern production of King Arthur using pieces of stone, twigs, driftwood, metal screws, nails, chain and clay to tell the love story between King Arthur and Princess Emmeline.
To design a poster and identity for a production of King Arthur in collaboration with the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin.
The identity highlights what makes this contemporary take on Henry Purcell's semi-opera different from previous productions by hinting at its setting in a semi-industrial, bleak climate and by taking inspiration from the found materials and natural/recycled textures of the set design. I created a pair of posters to highlight the equal emphasis on Emmeline in this particular production and type that mimics the claustrophobic, tumultuous landscape of the play.
